If you are a graduating student, you must confirm with Main Office to confirm your eligibility to graduate.
Outstanding Payments
Any outstanding payments need to be settled prior to your graduation date. Contact Main Office to confirm your accounts are in order.
Notification of Participation in Graduation - Graduation Student
All eligible graduating students must provide notification as to whether they plan to attend commencement.
UNLV Singapore will get in touch with you via your Rebel mail on the procedures to register with Joyous Asia for graduation. Joyous Asia is our appointed graduation provider for 2012. For more details, you can refer to their website.ss
Note:Graduating students must register with Joyous Asia by 15 May 2012. Students who do not register will not be included in graduation 2012 preparations
Ceremony Attire for Graduating Students
Each graduate must wear a cap and gown. Those receiving a master's degree will also wear a hood. Each graduate must wear the scarlet and gray tassel that will be provided by UNLV Singapore. Tassels are worn on the right; upon direction from the podium at the ceremony, the tassel is moved to the left. Information for gown rentals will be provided at a later date.
Name Cards
Name cards will be given to each graduate during the ceremony rehearsal. Each student will give a name card to the reader on stage during the ceremony.
Tickets for Guests
No tickets are required for graduates or their guests, but seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
Arrive Early
Graduating Students are to report to UNLV Singapore’s Campus, Student Union (#11-01) no later than 12:45 PM for cap and gown dressing, and briefing of the ceremony program.
Expect your Diploma in the Mail
Candidates for graduation will receive their diplomas in the mail after it is determined that their graduation requirements have been met. Applications for diplomas are made via MyUNLV. Access these links for instructions.
If requirements have been met, this usually occurs within 10-12 weeks of commencement. If you have not received your diploma by then, contact UNLV Singapore at (+65) 6332 9538.
