Dr. Evelyn K. Green holds a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Administration, an M.S. in Instructional Technology, an M.B.A. with a marketing emphasis, and a Ph.D. in Human Capital Development from The University of Southern Mississippi.
Dr. Green has 25 years of work experience in higher education including over six years of casino management instruction at Southern Miss where she developed its casino management certification, endorsed by the Mississippi Casino Operators Association. Her Casino Marketing course earned her the Universityís Exemplary Online Course Award in 2012.
Dr. Greenís research interests focus on workforce sustainability and corporate social responsibility through business-education partnerships for the casino, hospitality and tourism industry. Her area of studies includes workforce needs assessment, critical skills gap analysis, competency models for selection, and placement and succession planning.
