Gerry Koh holds a Bachelor of Science (International Hotel Management) from Florida International University, a Master of Science (Hotel Administration) from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a graduate Diploma in Adult Education from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

Gerry has been responsible for several premier hotel pre-openings in Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and the UAE. Working with senior department heads in the opening properties, he identifies key job descriptions, developed policies and procedures, and conducts training in departmental task functions for new hires prior to the hotel opening. He also provides management and human resource development consultancy and training in areas such as employee multi-skilling, re-engineering, meetings and events, customer focused quality service for hospitality companies, soft skills training in communication, problem solving, team building, leadership, organizational effectiveness and train the trainer.
