ICES 2010 is an international summit devoted to establishing its position as the leading summit of the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions (MICE) industry in Asia by providing the delegates with an interdisciplinary forum for exchange of ideas and knowledge.

The theme for this year's summit is "Today's and Tomorrow's Sustainability in MICE". With an increasing emphasis on building a sustainable environment while maintaining competitive advantage, what can we as the MICE industry do? What are some current practices? Through plenary and breakout sessions, industry professionals and academics will share their valuable experiences and insights.

This two-day summit is co-organized by University of Nevada Las Vegas, Singapore Campus and The School of Hotel and Tourism Management of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and will be held in the National Library Building of Singapore.

The program of this summit includes:

  • Keynote speeches by prominent industry leaders and educators
  • Interdisciplinary forums, featured plenary sessions and choices of concurrent sessions by academics and industry practitioners
  • A half-day site visit to Singapore’s first Integrated Resorts: Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World (presently unconfirmed)
