To be eligible to apply for the Professional Conversion Programme for Hospitality Managers, a candidate must meet, at minimum, the below requirements.
- A candidate must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Possess a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with an overall grade point average (GPA) of at least a 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or at least a 3.00 in the last two years of undergraduate study.
- Possess three (3) years of full-time Management or Supervisory Experience.
- Submit Two (2) Letters of References from the applicant’s current /previous employer and the other from a college faculty member able to evaluate the applicant’s potential for success in a graduate degree program. If the applicant has not been in a college program in the last six years, a letter from a former employer may be substituted for the second letter. Letters of Reference should be from only those who are able to evaluate your potential success in the programme.
- Possess a serious commitment to entering a management or supervisory career in the hospitality sector.
- Be able to commit 15-months of full-time work and study to the programme.
- Be able to commit an additional 15-months to securing employment and working in the hospitality sector.
